Single mothers become an Association

In the frame of the EU funded project "Strengthening the role of single mothers in influencing social and political participation" Medica Kosova registered the women at the Ministry of Public Administration as an Association of Single Mothers called "Djepi i Buzeqeshjes" (DiB). The process of registration proceeded after a series of trainings developed with the 16 women elected to run their organization in the field of project planning, problem analysis, public speaking, advocacy, computer and social networking; and other skills connected to basic project management and organizational issues.

90 single mothers as members of this organization were pleased to receive the certificate of registration and have an umbrella organization where they can address their needs and challenges regarding their status as single mothers in Kosovo society.
