International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG) from South Korea organizes a peace lecture in Pristina University

IWPG is one of biggest organizations in South Korea who develops peace promotion and peace building activities throughout the world. In this regard they prepared Declaration of Peace and Cessation of war as a peace commitment signed by 700,000 citizens of 173 countries in the world.

Medica Kosova is also one of the signees of this declaration together with the University of Pristina who hosted the peace lecture in their premises during Monday this month.

Medica Kosova director presented importance of supporting victims of war especially survivors of rape towards building inner peace and mechanisms in dealing with the past, as tools for reflecting and promoting peace in the society.

The organization considers that commitment of countries signing this declaration can promote a sustainable peace and prevent conflicts that generate violence and radicalization among youth and other members in post-war societies.
