Visit of Parliamentarian Women in Medica Kosova

Group of women from Kosovo Parliament and the assembly of women in Gjakova Municipality visited Medica Kosova. They were received by the Executive Director Mrs.Veprore Shehu and staff. They met elderly women as beneficiaries of the project "Strengthening the role of elderly women in promoting gender equality." Executive Director described briefly the project and the activities taking place lin the center, after which women deputies Teuta Sahatqija, Donika Kadaj Bujupi, Teuta Haxhiu and Officer for Gender Equality Lumnije Shllaku took the floor. They expressed their willingness to support projects focusing on women and their wellbeing.
Parliamentarians also had the opportunity to listen from the women about the changes they achieved at personal level and the impact the project had on them since they started to participate in center activities. They also expressed hope for enjoying continued support from women in Institutions and having them represent their voice.
