Medica Kosova presented many challenges for survivors of war rape in the closing meeting of the National Council

President of Kosova Mrs.Atifete Jahjaga closed the two year mandate of the National Council for the Survivors of Sexual Violence with the final request for bringing the perpetrators to justice. In this regard she claimed for assistance from the international community to procecute the criminals. 

Medica Kosova thanked Madam President for her contribution given during her mandate to break institutional silence and the social taboo about sexual violence in war. Executive Director Mrs.Veprore Shehu presented also a number of challenges awaiting women's organizations and the survivors in supporting their access to legislation and justice during the post-Council period.
