Bosnian Delegation headed by Medica Zenica Director met with survivors of war

After participating in the roundtable organized by Medica Kosova on the status and situation of survivors of sexual violence during the war, the director of Medica Zenica Mrs.Sabiha Husic together with a survivor and a prosecutor from Bosnia met with 30 survivors of war in the premises of the organization. During the meeting, they spoke about the importance of disclosure and psycho-social support for victims of sexual violence in fighting the stigma and accessing justice for the prosecution of these crimes. The meeting lasted two hours whereas some women supported by Medica Kosova expressed the consequences they continue to cope due to their experience and the lack of support by family and society.
