Regional conference "Challenges and achievements of Albanian women in the post war period"

A Regional Conference "Challenges of Albanian women in the postwar period" was organized in Gjakova under the auspices of the Mayor Mrs.Mimoza Kusari Lila and with participants from Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia and Montenegro.

The main topics discussed at the conference were covered in four panels: 1. The role of women and the consequences of war, 2. Entrepreneurship as an important part of the empowerment of women, 3. The role of women in overcoming the challenges of central and local governance and 4. Women's health and vital life.

The conference promoted local products and handicrafts made by women which were exposed in the fair prepared in the conference hall.
Participants of this fair were also three women beneficiaries of "Medica Kosova" with their handicrafts mainly covering traditional clothing and greeting postcards.
